How can you know for sure that Jesus is your personal Savior?

You must understand that God created you.

Genesis 1:1 - "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth."

Genesis 1:27 - "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them."

You must understand that you are a sinner.

Romans 3:10 - "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one."

Romans 3:23 - "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."

You must understand that sin has a price that must be paid.

Romans 6:23 - "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

You must understand that Christ died to pay your debt.

Romans 5:8 - "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

John 3:16-17 - "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved."

You must understand that Jesus Christ is the only way!

John 14:6 - "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

You must, by faith, ask Jesus Christ to be your Savior.

Romans 10:9-10 - "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

Romans 10:13 - "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

Then, you are promised everlasting life.

John 5:24 - "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life."
