What to Expect
Visiting any church for the very first time can be a tough experience. Well, we want to put you at ease. Your first visit to Catawba Springs Christian Church will be refreshing, friendly, and enjoyable for your whole family. We would certainly love to have you as our special guest during one of our scheduled worship services. Here are a few answers to your questions and what you might expect on your first visit. We are looking forward to meeting you!
When are your services?
Our main worship services are Sunday mornings and evenings at 10:30 AM and 6:00 PM, respectively. Both services are identical with the
same Bible message and music program.

Classes for all Ages – 9:30 AM
Morning Worship – 10:30 AM
Evening Worship – 6:00 PM
Wednesday
Adult Bible Study & Prayer – 7:00 PM
Teen Ministry – 7:00 PM

Are you affiliated with the christian church?
No. We are an independent, fundamental, Baptistic, missionary-minded local church that seeks to exalt God, equip believers, and evangelize the lost. Please click here to read more about our local church.

What about your nursery?
We provide a comfortable, clean, and safe nursery for children newborn to 2 years of age. When you sign your child in you will be given a small beeper in order to communicate with you in case a problem or need arises. An usher will be happy to assist you in any way to assure that your childcare needs are satisfied.
Where do I take my children?
We have a host of ministries that are designed to disciple and equip your children to live for God. We have children’s church available from 2 years old up to 6thgrade on Sunday mornings as well as our Awana ministry on Wednesday nights. Please click here for detailed information on our children's ministries.
What about my teens?
The youth group (7th-12th grades) meets in the youth room for Sunday school and on Wednesday nights. During those times they will hear expository (verse-by-verse) or topical messages from the Bible that are relevant for today, gather for small group discipleship, and receive Christian fellowship with the other teens and youth staff. Click here to visit our teen ministry page.
How should I dress?
There is not a dress code at Catawba Springs for members or guests. We do encourage our people to give their very best in every worship service. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in more traditional “Sunday” dress; however, our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here at Catawba!
What is your music like?
Our worship is a non-entertainment style. We present music in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs that reflect a commitment to Christ and His Word and never a conformity to that of the world (Ephesians 5:19, Romans 12:1-2, 1 Peter 1:13-16, 1 John 2:15-17).
Do you offer counseling?
We offer free counseling by experienced biblical counselors who provide hope for real problems through the God’s sufficient Word. Please see our counseling ministry page. Click here for more info.
