Adults

A ministry to adults is necessary because they are the pace-setters in the home, church, and community. With the many needs, challenges, and trials that arise during the course of adult life it is vital that a local church is equipping them for effective ministry in their areas of influence. With that mind, outside of the regular preaching of God's Word in the worships services we strive to provide solid and biblical ministry to many adults in the following ways:

Sunday School Classes

Our adult Sunday school program is centered upon a systematic and expository teaching of God's Word. Each class is staffed by a qualified, caring teacher who not only desires to impart biblical knowledge, but also longs to see changed lives! Sunday School begins at 9:30 AM before the worship service.

College & Career

One of the best times to wander away from the faith is during the young adult years. That is one reason why we are committed to reaching and maintaining this age group by providing solid biblical teaching, consistent fellowship, and wise counsel during a critical time at the crossroads.

Ladies Bible Fellowship

Once or twice a month many of our ladies assemble for a time of encouragement, fellowship, and Bible study. Generally these fellowships meet on Thursday mornings from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM.

Adult Mission Trips

Occasionally our church will assemble an adult mission team to minister in some specific way to missionaries. These trips provide great opportunities for our adults to serve through the local church.

Visitation

On scheduled Tuesday nights we meet and prepare to visit people who are visiting our church, shut-ins, and others who may have needs. This is a great way to learn how to witness and encourage people in the faith.

Teenagers With Wrinkles ("TWW")

Every month our "Teenagers With Wrinkles" (Senior Saints - 50+) gather for breakfast at a special restaurant. Other times they will take a sight-seeing trip for a few days. These times are designed to encourage fellowship among the older people in our church.
